New categories

TF1 and NRJ aspire to be ever-evolving with four new categories introduced at this year's ceremony: the best international music video is now separated from the best French music video - because everyone deserves an opportunity to shine, the social hit award highlighting emerging music trending on social media, adaptations to acknowledge the past and our music history, and finally an award for the best French tour of the year as live performances are at the very core of what TF1 and NRJ stand for.

Everyone is able to vote for their picks by going online to the NRJ website. Online votes will be closing at noon on November 18th for each of the categories. You can vote only once per day and find all the artists nominated on the NRJ website. Get involved and cast your votes!

The ceremony

The NRJ Music Awards ceremony will take place on Friday, 18 November at 9 pm in the Grand Auditorium at the Palais des Festivals et Congrès in Cannes. As with any special event in Cannes, Mayor David Lisnard makes sure that the local residents are included. A drawing for tickets for is being conducted on 16 and 17 November. The lucky winners get 2 tickets for the award show, allowing them to pass the photo call and montée les marches, or climb the famous steps to the Palais!

If you’re not lucky enough to win tickets from the city of Cannes, you can join the crowds of fans outside the Palais and the hotels putting up the stars, or you can watch the show live from the comfort of your own home on TF1.
