Enjoy a gourmet dinner and lyrical concert in Mandelieu

Looking for an unforgettable date night? We got you covered! A seasonal chef's menu of the finest products, 180* sea views, and top orchestra and opera performers. A fabulous evening out!



As the weather changes and the beachfront restaurants close for the season, a special night out might take a little more effort to plan, but with the new Lyrical evenings in Mandelieu, each month offers a chance to create a special night out.


In a cosy setting crowned by a breathtaking sea view, La Rotonde of Mandelieu offers a friendly atmosphere, where the refined pleasures of the table are combined with the entertainment of renowned classical artists.


Organised by Guillaume Arragon and Claude-Nicole Martinot, President of Rosace Arts Productions, a series of Lyrical concerts will take place at the restaurant, every first Sunday of the month at 7:30 pm.


Each evening has a different theme, and the menu is meticulously created by Chef Antonio Da Costa around the freshest local products.


October’s concert was a lively performance of operatic Flamenco, performed by tenor Bertrand di Bettino and accompanied by his dancer, Loli.


The next dinner concert will be on 6 November, with a Tzigane concert, arranged by Guillaume Arragon and his violinists, Coline & Dorian, regulars of great orchestras, including that of the Opera of Nice.


4 December: Bel Canto will be performed by a soprano and a tenor, including Bertrand di Bettino. 5 February & 5 March: More lyrical concerts, yet to be confirmed. Visit La Rotonde's website below for up to date concert infomation.


Sunday 6 November

La Rotonde’s Chef Antonio Da Costa proposes a menu around seasonal mushrooms, accompanied by a selection of wines selected by their partner, Laurent Bonetto.


Menu

  1. Amuse-bouche : Rye house crackers and freshly picked chanterelles (Montlouis/Loire - Chidaine)

  2. Appetizer : Cream of butternut squash, hazelnuts and black trumpets (l'Epatant Antidote, Domaine Combel La Serre)

  3. Fish: Fresh scallop gratin and citrus fruits (Les genêts-Château de Roquefort)

  4. Meat : Venison steak with cranberries, sweet potato purée and apple pickles (Fronton, Château de plaisance)

  5. Dessert: Homemade pumpkin tartlet, mascarpone mousse with coffee and crunchy hazelnuts (Muscat de Rivesaltes)

Price 120€ (Wine and food pairing + ½ water + coffee)
