MIDƐM+24 leaves an inedible mark in Cannes
After rocking the city, the renewed industry music festival immortalized music legends Yemi Alade, Stewart Copeland, and Jean-Michel Jarre in Cannes' Walk of Fame.
For the first time at MIDEM+, Yemi Alade, Stewart Copeland and Jean-Michel Jarre, named 'godparents' of this new edition, left another mark on the Croisette in the form of their handprints. The three artists moulded their handprints on the iconic red carpet of the Palais des Festivals, in front of the photographers gathered for the event. Those handprints will join 450 others that came before them on the legendary “Chemin des Etoiles”, Cannes's version of Hollywood's Walk of Fame. The sidewalk along the Palais des Festivals is already filled with hand prints from some of the world's greatest names in entertainment, including directors Quentin Tarantino, Tim Burton and Spike Lee, to actors and actresses such as Catherine Deneuve, Sharon Stone, Meryl Streep, and Sylvester Stallone.
